Hi Susan,
Thank you for your feedback and sharing your personal experience with the Body Emulsion. The concentration of lactic acid does an excellent job at removing the dead skin cells that accumulate on your feet during the winter. The socks definitely help by sealing in the moisture and preventing/slowing down the evaporation of the active ingredients (that are providing the benefits - an excellent idea. Yes, you are correct, and should NOT use the Body Emulsion immediately after shaving (wait four hours) before it applying it directly on any nicks or cuts.
Best,

I get nasty, dry feet during winter. The soles (especially heels) of my feet get so thick and rough, I could probably walk on hot coals and not feel a thing. I started using ZO's Body Emulsion on my feet three days ago--Morning and night, right before I go to bed, then put on some socks (I have no idea if this serves a useful purpose or not!) and again in the morning after showering. I also use a Ped-Egg thing in the shower--that I bought at a drug store. Not sure if that helps or not...

Anyhow, after just a couple of days, my feet are remarkably better! Don't use Body Emulsion, though, if you have any small cuts on your hands or feet--it will sting for a few seconds.

I had thought I was going to have to start getting weekly pedicures (nice, but pricey!). But Body Emulsion did the trick.
