Hello Anne,
Thank you again for your kind feedback. Sometimes, surgery is the only alternative if you have tried everything else. You seem to be properly applying the program to your skin and following tips that are not meant to totally prevent fluid retention (eye bag), but help to significantly reduce them. Things good be a lot worse if you didn't take the precautions you take above. Keep up the good work. There is only so much we can do, before natural aging, genetics, and gravity take over.
Best,
Dr. Zein E. Obagi

Dear Dr. Obagi,

I have undereye bags which have been there for decades, okay I am 58… That is the FIRST thing I see when I look in the mirror and I loathe them. Plastic surgery is not an option so I was wondering, is there anything else in addition to what you have already recommended minimize their appearance? Concealers in my opinion just draw attention to them and at 58, my eyeglasses do detract from them somewhat but I still see them.

I do everything I can : sleep on my back until my husband nudges me to rollover because I am snoring(embarassing), drink plenty of water, get enough sleep and yes, I do have allergies but anyway....

Last year when you “opened my eyes” to learn that some of the NuDerm products, including 0.1% Tretinoin could be used in the eye area, what a revelation!!! I used Elastiderm creme at night and during the daytime I would use the ZO Skin Health Olluminate eye creme.

In the evening when a light application of Clear or Tre/Blender, then I will follow with a light application of Elastiderm for moisture.

In the fear of sounding like a product junkie, truthfully speaking would Olluminate used during the day be beneficial for me and use the Elastiderm at night?

Please do not take offense at the "product junkie" remark as your facial products are the ONLY ones I use. No mixing of manufacturers going on here!!!

I look forward to your imput and your candor. I really do dislike these bags, I wish they were just things I could have aspirated and drained.

Fondly,
Anne
